PURPOSE: An electronic settlement method for input/output of a business fund using an opened communication network and a computer-readable recording medium are provided to perform works relating to the electronic settlement regardless of time and place by processing a settlement document for input/output of the business fund through the opened communication network such as the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A web server(40) provides a variety of web interfaces so that workers(25) of a member company(20) can do works relating to an electronic settlement including settlement document formation, settlement request and electronic settlement on an opened communication network(30) such as an Internet. A database(50) stores information for executing the electronic settlement on the opened communication network(30) and information obtained by the electronic settlement. When a database server(60) receives an information processing request from the worker(25) through the web server(40), the database server(60) is connected with the database(50) for processing information and transmitting the obtained information to the web server(40), so that the worker(25) can receive the information through the opened communication network(30).
