Retargetting method and apparatus for facial expression of caricature

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for changing facial expression of the caricature are provided for a user to make easily the caricature that has a variety of the facial expression by using a facial motion capture. CONSTITUTION: The user reads a target caricature file of storage through input units(S1) and selects a standard caricature(S2). When the size of the standard caricature is different from one of the target caricature, the user adjusts the size of the target caricature(S3). When the direction of the standard caricature is different from one of the target caricature, the user rotates the direction of the target caricature(S4,S5). The user links the control point of the target caricature with the marker of the standard caricature stored to a DB(S6). The user selects the desired expression(S7) and runs a program(S8). If the changed expression is not satisfactory(S9), the user selects the marker again, assigns a change vector value manually, and reruns the program(S10).
