APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING A GEOMORPHIC MODEL USING GEOMORPHIC DATA

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a relief model using geographical data are provided to improve the accuracy of the relief model and three-dimensional modeling by using images transmitted from an artificial satellite and digital geographical data. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing a relief model consists of a geographical data input device(102); a geographical data processing device(104) for providing a relief model manufacturing file by processing geographical data; and a relief model manufacturing device(106). The geographical data processing device first makes DEM(digital elevation model) data from the geographical data, and produces three-dimensional solid model data from the DEM data to provide the relief model manufacturing file.
