PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a p-type thermal material having increased yield is provided to fabricate the thermoelectric material having a high thermal characteristic, by using the first and second ingots having different composition. CONSTITUTION: An ingot is composed of the first and second ingots(1,2) having different composition. The second ingot has the same composition as a solid phase extruded after the end part of the first ingot is melted. A monocrystal is grown in a direction from the first ingot to the second ingot. The growth rate of the monocrystal is not faster than 0.5 millimeter per minute.
