PURPOSE: A researching method using an on-line focus group interview is provided to promote the reliability of a research by performing a focus group interview on line through the Internet, by reducing expenses for executing the focus group interview, and by enabling user to rapidly get information. CONSTITUTION: An Internet user connects to a web site(S11). It is judged whether the Internet user connecting to the web site is a registered member(S12). In case that the user is an unregistered member, it is confirmed whether the user wants to become a member of the site(S13). Personal information is received from the user. After that, the user is registered(S14). Participants who want to participate in executing a focus group interview on line are collected among members registered in the web site(S15). Appropriate research members are collected among the participants(S16). A screening test or a test for psychological factors is executed. The final research participants are selected(S17). Prepared contents are given to the research participants(S18). The on-line focus group interview is executed(S19). Contents for compensation for participating in the focus group interview are reported to the participants(S20). Information on a research subject is arranged on the basis of data collected from the focus group interview(S21).
