WEB-PAGE CONVERTER AND METHOD FOR MOBILE WEB CLIENTS CONSIDERING USER ACCESS PATTERN

PURPOSE: A device for converting a web page is provided to convert web documents based on a desktop PC according to a specific portable information equipment by considering a user access pattern, so as to improve the number of web pages capable of accessing through a wireless Internet up to wire Internet standards. CONSTITUTION: An HTML analyzer(31) inputs an HTML document from a web server according to a web page request of a user, and analyzes an electronic document form of the corresponding web document. A user information database(32) obtains the number of accessing times of each web page of users, based on the user's web page request, as well as obtaining user's access tendencies and specifications of portable information equipment, and stores the obtained information. An intermediate type converter(33) converts the corresponding web document based on the analyzed information of the document form. A filter(34) filters portions of document contents from the web document which is converted to an intermediate type expression, by considering the stored user access tendencies and the specifications of the portable information equipment. A re-write tool(35) writes the filtered web document via a re-write technique, and provides the web document to an HTTP client.
