WEB-PAGE CONVERTER AND METHOD FOR MOBILE WEB CLIENTS CONSIDERING REPEATED GRAMMATICAL PATTERN

PURPOSE: A device and a method for converting a user web page using a repeated grammar structure are provided to properly convert the web page fit to the characteristic of a portable information device by installing a proper intermediary between the portable information device and a server providing a web document, and offering a function to properly reduce a size of the web page. CONSTITUTION: An HTML(HyperText Markup Language) analyzer(31) receives an HTML document from the web server and analyzes an electronic document format of the web document. A grammar structure analyzer(32) judges the repeated part, a part to be hidden by a hyperlink, and the remaining part from the web document. A middle form converter(33) converts the web document into an expression method of a middle form for applying a conversion method. A filter(34) filters a part of the document contents from the web document converted into the expression method of the middle form by considering a specification of the portable information terminal. A remaking tool(35) makes the web document passing the filter(34) by a remaking method, and provides it to a mobile HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol) client.
