/ Automatized High Temperature Electrical Conductivity/Partial Oxygen Pressure Measurement System

PURPOSE: An electric conductivity/oxygen tension measuring apparatus is provided to achieve an improved accuracy of measuring, while reducing labor of measuring person. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a tube type electric furnace(1) for providing a variable high temperature; a sample fixing table(3) protruded from an end cap of the tube type electric furnace, and which has a four-contact electrode(2) attached to the sample fixing table in such a manner as to contact a ceramic sample; a probe unit protruded from the other end cap of the tube type electric furnace, and which is constituted by an oxygen tension probe(4) for measuring oxygen tension around the sample; and a measuring/processing unit for measuring potentials of the four-contact electrode and oxygen tension probe, and processing data. The measuring/processing unit includes a DC power source for measuring electric conductivity; a central processing unit for processing for processing programs; a memory for storing control programs and data; control keys for external input; a monitor for display; a relay card for sequential measurement of electric conductivity and potentials of electrode and oxygen tension probe; and a digital multi-meter for measuring potentials.
