Cosmetic composition containing Salvia militiorrhira Bge. extracts and polyethoxylated retinamide

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition for the prevention and treatment of pimple, containing the extract of Salviae miltiorrhizae Bunge and polyethoxylated retin amide is provided, wherein the extract of Salviae miltiorrhizae radix inhibits 5alpha-reductase activity and sebum secretion, and has an antibiotic effect and an anti-inflammatory effect, and the polyethoxylated retin amide is useful in removing keratin. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition for the prevention and treatment of pimple contains 0.001 to 10 wt.%, preferably 0.01 to 5 wt.% of the Salviae miltiorrhizae radix extract and 0.001 to 10 wt.%, preferably 0.01 to 5 wt.% of polyethoxylated retin amide, in which the extract of Salviae miltiorrhizae radix is prepared by extracting the root of Salviae miltiorrhizae radix and purifying the extract and comprises Crypto tanshinone, tanshinone I, tanshinone II as main components; and the polyethoxylated retin amide having improved stability and dermal penetrating activity is prepared by adding polyethylene glycol(PEG) into retinoic acid.
