PURPOSE: A method of controlling sinter particle size distribution is provided to optimize air permeation and improve reduction ratio in blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: For fuel cost reduction and stabilization of blast furnace gas, in the sinter particle size distribution, sinter particle size higher than 30mm is less than 17%, 20-30mm is about 17%, 15-20mm is about 20-25%, 10-15mm is 18%, and sinter particle size less than 10mm is 25-30%. To obtain such sinter particle size distribution, cold crusher is adjusted at intervals of 20mm, 40mm, and 60mm, in accordance with sinter particle size distribution.
