PURPOSE: A method and unit for managing a paduk game capable of extending game area are provided to adjust a size of a game area and a time required for the paduk game selectively in accordance with one's necessity by performing an extension from an initial game area of 7 X 7 size to a standard game area of 19 X 19 size. CONSTITUTION: A paduk game management unit(20) is installed in a software block(9) in an information processing device(10) as a PC or a mobile communication device. A graphic data module(22) performs a role for storing various graphic data necessary for progressing a paduk game, that is, a series of paduk stone graphic data and a plurality of game area data for defining a game area. A sound data module(23) performs a role for storing various sound data, that is, a background sound data and stone arrangement sound data. A game operation data module(24) performs a role for storing various command language data necessary for operating a game. A game control module(21) is linked with the graphic data module(22), the sound data module(23), and the game operation data module(24) in real time on condition that a series of communication relations is formed with a cursor input unit(4), a keyboard(5), and a mouse(6).
