Tonic compositions and tonic agents comprising the same

PURPOSE: A health tonic composition and a health tonic containing it are provided, thereby inhibiting side effects caused by ingesting a single ginseng and improving health. CONSTITUTION: The health tonic composition comprises a grape extract and/or a wild grape extract, and a ginseng extract in the ratio of 1:0.01 to 1:10, and it further comprises 0.01 to 10 wt.% of a medicinal herb extract or a natural fruit extract to the total weight of the grape extract and/or wild grape extract and the ginseng extract, wherein the ginseng extract is prepared from undried ginseng, white ginseng and steamed red ginseng; the ginseng extract is a powder form or an undiluted solution form; the grape extract and wild grape extracts are independently powder form or undiluted solution form; the medicinal herb extract is powder or undiluted solution of at least one selected from Glycyrrhizae Radix, Plantago asiatica L., Cassia tora L., Lycium Chinense, Ganoderma lucidum, Epimedii Folium, Gastrodia elata BL. and Angelica gigas radix; the natural fruit extract is powder or undiluted solution of at least one selected from pear, apple, watermelon, melon, pineapple, orange, grapefruits, peach, guava, apricot, strawberry, Japanese apricot, tomato, lemon, plum and lime.
