TFT-LCD TYPE TIMING CONTROLLER

摘要

PURPOSE: A timing controller for TFT LCD is provided to reduce power consumption and noise such as electromagnetic interference by controlling generation of data clock signal. CONSTITUTION: A data clock masking signal generation portion(62) receives an operation control signal and a data enable signal and generates a data clock masking signal. A data clock signal generation portion(64) receives the data clock masking signal and a main clock signal and generates a data clock signal. The operation control signal is used for detecting a block in which a gate driver is not operated. The data clock masking signal generation portion(62) generates a control signal for controlling the data clock signal generation portion(64) if the operation control signal of a low state is outputted from the block in which the gate driver is not operated. The data clock signal generation portion(64) outputs the data clock signal if the operation control signal of a high state is outputted from a block in which the gate driver is operated.
