DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONNECTION OF ASIC EMULATOR BOARD

PURPOSE: An ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit) emulator board connection system and method is provided to execute a large capacity experiment or education software by connecting a plurality of ASIC emulator boards. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a board counter(100), a single board program downloading device(200), an internal single board memory(300), a multiple board program downloading module(400) and an internal multiple board memory(500). The board counter(100) receives program data which the ASIC emulator board downloads from an external device, detects the number of used boards, and outputs signals according as the used board is single or multiple. The single board program downloading device(200) receives the detection signal from the board counter(100), and downloads a program used in a single board. The internal single board memory(300) receives the program downloaded by the single board program downloading device(200), stores the program, and transmits the program storage result to an external device. The multiple board program downloading module(400) receives the detection signal from the board counter(100), and downloads a program used in a multiple board. The internal multiple board memory(500) receives the program downloaded by the single board program downloading device(200), stores the program, and enables a connection board to download the program.
