PURPOSE: A sound message for preventing illegal crossing is provided to prevent an accident on a crossing by providing a sound message as well as an alarm indicator to a pedestrian. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of X-shaped indicators are operated by a plurality of photo sensors(6,9) when a pedestrian passes by. A plurality of rectangular pillars(A,B) are installed at both sides of a road in a predetermined interval. Each photo sensor(1) of the pillars(A,B) is always operated. The X-shaped indicators are turned on and a sound message such as "dangerous" is transferred to the generated twice and a red signal lamp is turned on when the pedestrian jaywalks. The sensors(1) are not operated when the red signal lamp is turn off and a green signal lamp is turned on.
