VIRTUAL ART GALLERY SYSTEM USING INTERNET AND ART EXHIBITING SELLING METHOD THEREOF AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORED COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

PURPOSE: A virtual pavilion system and a method for displaying and selling an art work using the system are provided to exhibit a work of art using the Internet and perform a sale. CONSTITUTION: In a virtual pavilion system using the Internet, the first terminal(100) for a spectator connects to the virtual pavilion system through the Internet and transmits/receives information data for inspecting and buying a work of art of artists registered in the system. The second terminal(102) for an artist connects to the virtual pavilion system through the Internet, registers to the system as an artist, up-loads moving picture or still picture data, and requests an opening of an Internet virtual pavilion. A database storing unit(108) includes information DBs necessary for operating the system. A virtual pavilion server(106) constructs a plurality of virtual pavilions for making spectators connected to the system watch a work of art through the Internet and displays works of art up-loaded from registered artists in an allocated pavilion. If a spectator wishes to watch the works in the pavilion, the virtual pavilion server(106) supplies registered works to the first terminal(100) as a moving picture or a still picture for making the spectator watch the works.
