FIELD: agriculture and plant cultivation; selective and genetic studies for producing valuable mutants of farming plant. SUBSTANCE: physical method used for acting on biological objects such as seeds involves their exposure to shock waves in water medium at temperature of 2 C and production of pulses of 155-554 N•cm^-20 followed by dipping seeds in water at given temperature for 12 h.
