FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves delivering low coherence optical tomograph radiation to eye cornea at given non-zero angle ϕ relative to the eye cornea surface normal so that π/2ϕmin{ϕ1,ϕ2}, where ϕ1 == NA/G and ϕ2 = Gd/2a*. NA is the numeric optical coherent tomograph radiator aperture; G is the preset magnification degree of the optical system providing the first beam delivery to eye cornea; a* is the cornea thickness before the ablation beginning(in mcm); d is the optical coherent tomograph radiator aperture (in mcm). It enables one to use reverse radiation scattered by eye cornea for performing in situ monitoring based on applying coherent optical tomography method and to carry out the monitoring under condition of fixed spatial cornea position. Eye cornea thickness before the beginning and in the course of ablation is determined as argument of tomographic signal deviation norm in single scanning in the direction of the first beam propagation in the eye cornea relative to a reference function. Ultraviolet radiation and infrared radiation delivery is carried out by means of different superposition members.
