FIELD: space engineering; filling hydraulic lines of temperature control systems of transport cargo manned spacecraft, modules of orbital stations and other objects visited by crew in the course of operation. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measurements of hydraulic characteristics, filling mains with heat-transfer agent and setting static working pressure. Preliminarily, pressure head built up by hydraulic pump of system at maximum on-board voltage of power supply source is measured on hydraulic analog of system being filled ; then drop of pressure head to point of inlet of hydraulic system in habitable compartment is measured and dependence of change of pressure in system per degree of change of temperature of heat-transfer agent and pressure of cavitation of hydraulic pump is determined, after which average mass temperature is measured in filling the system of each spacecraft after filling the hydraulic main with heat-transfer agent and definite static working pressure is set in system. EFFECT: enhanced safety of crew in case of loss of tightness.
