STRAIN 'LP' OF PARAMYXOVIRUS OF FIRST SEROTYPE FOR CONTROL OF IMMUNOGENIC ACTIVITY OF VACCINES AGAINST NEWCASTLE DISEASE

FIELD: veterinary virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry paramyxovirus strains. Strain is obtained by isolation of Newcastle disease virus isolate from poultry pathological material delivered from poultry plant. Strain "LP" is deposited in Collection of microorganism strains VNII of veterinary virology and microbiology RASCHN. Strain "LP" is used as control one in evaluation of immunogenic activity of vaccines against Newcastle disease shows higher infectious activity (7.0 lg 50/cm³, 9.5 lg ELD 50/cm³) with more expressed pathoanatomical alternations: hemorrhages in upper third of muscular stomach under cuticle, more distinct multiple hemorrhages on glandular stomach mucosa, "hemorrhagic ring" on border of glandular stomach with muscular stomach, edematous glandular envelope of trachea with hyperemia and point hemorrhages, accumulation of mucus with blood in trachea and large fibrinous- necrotic formations in intestine. Invention can be used for control of immunogenic activity of vaccines and in scientific and industrial laboratories in development of vaccines against Newcastle disease.
