The invention relates to an injection moulding device for producing precision-optical and precision-mechanical parts from a thermoplastic material in an injection mould (1) comprising an upper part (2) and a lower part (3) which can be separated from each other, an upper punch (4, 5) and lower punch (6, 7) for defining a mould cavity (23, 24), a gate (25, 26) which feeds a plasticized injection moulding mass into the mould cavity (23, 24) as well as a feed channel (16, 17) for the compressed injection moulding mass which is connected to the gate. The temperature curve in the feed channel (16, 17) can be adjusted and the injection mould is provided with heating-cooling channels (30, 31; 32, 33). The device is characterized in that at least the heating-cooling systems assigned to the upper and lower mould part (2, 3) and the upper and lower punches (4, 5; 6, 7) are separate from each other and in that corresponding individually adjustable temperature adjustment and/or control devices for the heating-cooling means are provided for. With a method making use of such an injection mould (1) care must be taken to ensure that the upper mould part (2) and lower mould part (3) in the area of the gate (25, 26) as well as the top end of the upper and lower punches (8, 9; 10, 11) can be adjusted to virtually identical temperatures by means of independently adjustable and/or controllable heating-cooling systems.
