The adjustment system for a solar generator includes a toothed rod whose linear movement causes adjustment about the first axis, i.e. azimuthal adjustment. The teeth of the rod engage in the teeth of a wheel (12) causing it to rotate. The adjustment about the second axis, i.e. elevation adjustment, is caused by a hydraulic cylinder (14) which has pivot pins mounted in bearings (54) which are screwed to a plate (13) fastened to the toothed wheel.
