The dosing machine has an input funnel (3) for filling the material to be dispensed, with a lamella sliding element (11) in the funnel. The layers of lamella are separated with at least one parallel movable second layer of lamellas beneath the first layer, with which the gaps between the lamellas in the first layer can be at least partly closed. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) An input funnel for filling material with a tendency to compress; (2) The use of an input funnel with a lamella sliding element in its upper accommodation chamber.
