The engine bonnet has an outer skin with a fresh air feed channel with filter unit located on its underside. An energy absorption structure (5) is also located on the underside, and channel (8-10) and filter units (12) are spatially integrated in the structure. The filter unit is contained in a filter chamber (9), which is closed by a cover (13) opening downwards. The channel has an air intake socket on one end, and an outlet socket on the other end, with a flexible air guide hose (11) connected to the outlet.
