An electro-acoustic wave guide for coupling in of acoustic energy in a liquid or pasty medium at several frequencies, in which the non-symmetrical position of the active material (G(x))between passive end sections with the maximum of the geometrical mean calculated from spatial dependency of mechanical stresses at their desired natural frequencies according to a given equation. The non-symmetrical position of active material is calculated according to a first equation. The origin of the derivative for determining the position of the maximum is calculated according to a second equation. (G(x)) is the Geometrical mean of mechanical stresses, (m) is Number of selected natural frequencies, (k) is Code of natural frequency, (S(x,k)) is Location dependency of mechanical stress in waveguide, (P) is Position of maximum of (G(x))
