The flow meter has a channel (1) in which a sensor element (2) is arranged. At least one additional body (5), which is preferably a triangle with the wider part in the upstream direction, is arranged in the channel upstream of the sensor element. The additional body is formed and arranged relative to the sensor element such that an eddy in the flow is caused which effects the sensor element more or less dependent on the degree of pulsation of the flow.
