The storage tank (10), for a liquid dosing system, in addition to its main outlet (16) comprises an auxiliary outlet (18) joined to an equalizing tank (20) which as a ventilating channel communicates with the surrounding atmosphere, and has a volume sufficiently large to accommodate the volume forced out of the storage tank by pressure fluctuations. An Independent claim is also included for a liquid dosing system with a storage tank. The system comprises a secondary puffer storage tank and a controllable valve in the main liquid delivery line.
