A method for synchronizing a RF-receiver to RF-signals, in which periodically at least a reference symbol in the RF-signals is used for synchronization by the RF-receiver. Depending on the one of the location signals received by the RF-receiver, the synchronization of the RF-receiver is corrected. The first reference symbol is specifically the zero symbol and the second reference symbol is the TFPR- (phase reference) symbol, and a GPS-signal is used for the location signal.
