Molding material is fed into a moving die comprising individual die parts(18) arranged in groups adjacent to each other along two continuously circulating tracks(12,14). The material is shaped in a forming zone(20) in which the opposing die parts are in contact with each other and continues as an endless profile after the die parts separate and return to the start of the track.
