Extruding process comprises feeding a cylindrical profile (3) made from magnesium into a feed channel (2) (container), and pressing through a die (5) using a stamp (4) with plastic deformation. The profile is plastically deformed directly before the die across the moving direction achieved by the pushing movement of the stamp. An Independent claim is also included for an extruding device used in the above process. Preferred Features: The profile is plastically deformed so that the orientation of the central axis of the non-deformed and deformed profile deviate from each other. Deformation also occurs in further active directions. The profile is tilted in the feed channel.
