The invention relates to a device for driving a plurality of shafts on a flap system, which are arranged on one plane in a mounting device, whereby the flaps may be rotated in both directions. Said device comprises a drive shaft for driving a first connecting rod, connected by means of a plurality of lever arrangement to the plurality of shafts, whereby the lever arrangements are each connected to a first axle in the end region thereof, each of which is rotatably mounted in a bearing in the connecting rod and in the other end region thereof said lever arrangements are fixed to a shaft, each of which is rotatably mounted in a bearing in the mounting device. A bi-directional endless drive of the flap shafts of a flap system is thus achieved by means of a simple, robust and low-maintenance construction, whereby at least one further connecting rod is provided, the lever arrangement of which is fixed at a pre-determined angle, relative to the lever arrangement of the first connecting rod.
