The patent provides a method for molding processing of plastic material,wherein a base material provided with a transfer surface consists of a plastic material, the base material is fixed with the transfer surface exposed, the shaping surface of a stamper consisting at at least a part thereof of an infrared transmitting material is kept in close contact with the transfer surface of the base material, and an infrared beam is applied to the stamper in a base material orienting direction. The high productivity while enhancing the transfer properties of a plastic material is kept by comparatively low viscidity of plastics nearby the transfer surface and shaping surfac and by the molded article having uniform physical characteristics.
