The method involves regulating the braking pressure or its variation using analog valves or analogized seat valves. The magnitude of the valve (8) current, i.e. the valve actuation or valve control current, is detected at the time of valve changeover and used to compute and control the valve current required to set the desired throughflow cross-section of the valve.
