The steering system includes a steering wheel actuator and a steering actuator both operably connected through a regulating system circuit giving a freely defined connection between the steering movement and the steered wheels, with the adjusting speed of the wheels subordinate to the steering angle. The pre-set steering angle is fixed and is only changed by diverging from the central position. The steering actuator has an electric motor acting on a pushrod through a ball circuit mechanism or again acting in a rack and pinion. The electric motor is asynchronous and the steering actuator is fitted with proportionating valve controlling a working piston.
