Brake operating unit for vehicle, controls braking force of wheel based on estimated friction and detected skid information

An estimation unit estimates friction condition of a wheel and road surface, based on wheel speed detected by detector (11). Another detector detects skid information on wheel. A controller controls braking force of the wheel, based on friction and skid information.
