Brake system controlling method for vehicle, involves controlling brake force distribution between wheel brakes of axles based on temperature values, slip values and characteristic of brake friction coefficient of wheel brakes
The method involves determining temperature values (THL, THR, TVL, TVR) of wheel brakes (HL, HR, VL, VR) and applying a brake temperature model (BTM). A characteristic of a specific brake friction coefficient (cp) is derived from the determined temperature values and slip values (SHL, SHR, SVL, SVR) of the respective wheel brakes. A brake force distribution between the wheel brakes of front and rear axles (1, 2) is controlled based on the temperature values, the slip values and the characteristic of the specific brake friction coefficient of the wheel brakes.
