Two preferred solutions are offered to the problem of how to alter the cut point of the separator in a separator ball mill while keeping the rotation speed of the separator wheel (1a, 4, 6, 7) constant during the operative phase. According to one of these solutions the fine material outlet (6) is realized as an adjustable diaphragm and according to the other solution the free height of the separation chamber is adjustable.
