The advance of the opening of the exhaust cycle is varied from the angular value (described by the crankshaft) between the instant, where the piston uncovers the slot, and the start of opening of the exhaust valve. The optimisation of the characteristics of the engine is obtained by positioning the control valve (3) of the primary path at the ideal value, by the screw of the servomotor (5) which controls it via. an intelligent electronic management system. The device allows the exhaust of the exhaust gases from cylinder a via. a slot (1) which is controlled by a rotating ball (2) synchronised by the crankshaft. It is the primary path. During the second stroke, the gas-mixture is pushed towards the exhaust valve. It is the second paths. The variation of the exhaust diagrams is obtained by a valve (3) which is concentric with this rotating ball, and which along this position, more or less anticipates the use of the primary exhaust path (7).
