The frame has triangular tongues (1) mounted without play in a groove in each of the frame members (8,9) to retain the geometry of the frame. There are tensioning screws with washers and nuts to tension the frame and canvas. Springs (11) can retain the canvas tension without secondary adjustment. The springs can be mounted in the corners of the frame.
