The data carrier container comprises a body, a cover fastened revolving at the body, and a ring-shaped element (42) in an area of a central aperture of the data carrier disk, which projects from the body, on which the disk lies. A platform (44) which can be pushed down, is surrounded by the ring-shaped element. At least one arm (45) surrounded by the ring-shaped element, comprises a projection (46) at a free end, which holds the disk. A surface area (43) lies between the platform and the at least one arm. The disk is released from the projection, if a force is excerpted on the platform.
