The lead refill protector has a central protection tube (2) to surround the lead (4) with two double lugs extending perpendicular the axis of the lead. The double lugs align the lead at one or two points of contact under the elasticity of the material. The tube has a clip lug for locking of the protector to prevent removal of the lead without a special tool.
