System for precisely establishing clutching curve of clutch unit of automobile, uses algorithm to establish clutching curve enabling functioning of clutch system or for automatically unlocking park brake before starting vehicle
The clutching curve connected to the torque (Cemb) transmitted by a clutching unit, from the control mean position of this unit. The torque (Croue) transmitted to the wheels at different measurement points, and the positions (Thetaemb) corresponding to the control mean are measured. The next step includes, selecting, for establishing the curve, the measuring points for which a sliding state greater than a predetermined threshold (DeltaOmegamin), is established in the clutching unit and, for the selected points of measurements, extracting the torque (Cemb) transmitted by the clutching unit using the mathematical relation: Cemb=Croue/K.(Dboite-Rboite), where K is a constant, Dboite is the demultiplication of the gearbox, as a function of the engaged ratio (r) at the measured instant, and Rboite the efficiency of the gearbox.
