Wheel hub for a light vehicle of the wheelchair type, cycles and similar means of transport, of the type comprising a cylindrical body (1) receiving, at the end, disc-shaped flanges, receiving in their annular part, fixing holes, wheel spoke ends, the body internally receiving rolling means with or without a spacer between said rolling means, characterized in that the cylindrical body (1) is made of a synthetic material, and is arranged to receive each of its ends (1a-1b) a flange (2-3) in the form of a disc having on its crown a plurality of holes for fixing the wheel spokes, said flanges being attached and fixed to or with the ends of the body by mounting for ensure a firm hold, and in that the body and the flanges are arranged with complementary male female connection means (7-7) allow their relative positioning.
