The flashing turn indicators have a row of lamp bulbs (6) forming the flashing lamp (1, 5) that is placed on either side of the motor vehicle. The bulbs in the flasher unit are successively illuminated when a particular direction is selected by the driver operating a lever (3), which closes contacts in supplementary leads (2,4) controlling the indicator unit.
