PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing electroconductive ink or electroconductive coating from which water can perfectly be separated as a method for carrying out the electronconductive processing inexpensively with high reliability and easily as the properties of the base materials are retained. ;SOLUTION: This process for producing electroconductive ink or electroconductive coating comprises at least (a) the process for polymerizing aniline or an aniline derivative, (b) the process for coagulating the resultant polyaniline by adding an amphoteric solvent to the oxidation polymerization reaction liquid mixture and removing the liquid components, (c) the process for adding an amphoteric solvent that has a stronger affinity to polyaniline analogues than water and the synthetic resin solution to separate and remove the liquid components including water from the solid fraction and (f) and step for dispersing the solid fraction in the synthetic resin solution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
