PURPOSE: To inspect a reusable unit component, especially a strobe unit, efficiently. ;CONSTITUTION: Each inspection pallet 50 is provided with an ID unit 72 and each strobe unit 17 is held in a predetermined attitude on the inspection pallet 50. Each strobe unit 17 is inspected for each item during the circulation process of the inspection pallet 50. The inspection data is stored in each ID unit 72. Upon finish of all inspections, a computer 73 reads out the inspection data collectively from each ID unit 72 and compared with a predetermined threshold value for each inspection item. A synthetic decision is then made based on the comparison results and the strobe units 17 are sorted into groups of passed product, repairing produce, failed product and reinspection product.
