PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-chromate type rust prevention-treated metallic sheet which has various excellent performances with respect to the grade of the surface appearance of the metallic sheet as well as corrosion resistance and coating adhesion without incorporation of harmful chromium such as hexavalent chromium in a treatment film, and in which problems such as the collapse of a coil caused by the looseness of coiling and the collapse of a load in cut sheet piling can be improved while maintaining its press galling resistance. SOLUTION: The surface treated metallic sheet has a film layer containing an aqueous resin, a silane coupling agent and a phosphoric component as a substrate treatment layer (3). The upper layer thereof is provided with the upper film layer (2) consisting of a 100 pts.wt. organic resin, 1 to 50 pts.wt. particulate silica as solid contents and a 1 to 30 pts.wt. polyolefin wax dispersion (1) having a molecular weight of 6,000 to 15,000. The coating weight of the upper layer film is 0.1 to 5 g/m2.
