PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image change detection system capable of providing information, whereby a user at a client terminal can quickly find out an optimum image change detection parameter, to the user without the need for much increasing a transmission capacity of a data transmission medium.;SOLUTION: This invention provides the image change detection system comprising: an image change detection apparatus provided with a communication means; and a communication apparatus provided with a communication means, the communication apparatus includes: a setting means for setting an image change detection parameter which the image change detection apparatus should adopt; and a transmission means for transmitting the image change detection parameter set by the setting means to the image change detection apparatus, and the image change detection apparatus is provided with a setting means for setting the image change detection parameter sent from the communication apparatus as a reference of an image change.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
