PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the hazard of choking even in case a transport of two-phase flow of solids and liquid having a high solid rate is conducted to raise the transporting density of energy. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a solid and liquid two-phase flow transport path 1, an air lead-in valve 2 installed upstream of that place on the path 1 where a risk of choking with solids exists, a pressure gauge 4 to detect likelihood of choking of the transport path, and a control device 5 to actuate the air lead-in valve 2 in conformity to the detecting signal given by the pressure gauge 4. When the risk of choking exists, air is sent into the transport path to form a plug stream of the air and two-phase flow of solids and liquid, and therewith likely choking is avoided.
