PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustable speed control method capable of suppressing machine vibration without damaging adjustable speed performance.;SOLUTION: In the control method of a controller for adjusting the speed of a control shaft of a machine with an adjusting speed acceleration preset for a commanded speed, a time required for acceleration to a commanded feed speed is determined (S100), and the adjusting speed acceleration is decreased so as to equalize the adjusting speed time to a maximum time (S104) when the time lies within a range of minimum time and maximum time preset in the controller (S101).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
